NOTIFICATION
The 16th July 2007
No. 13/31/07-1HG2/5398 whereas the Governor of Punjab
is of the opinion that the object of proper development of the area falling
in and around Bathinda City will be best served while entrusting the work
of development and redevelopment thereof to a special authority.
Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section
29 (1) of the Punjab Regional and Town Planning and Development Act,1995
(Punjab Act No. 11 of 1995), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute
and establish Bathinda Development Authority for areas falling in city
of Bathinda and its surrounding villages falling within the revenue district
of Bathinda as defined in the annexed drawing no. DTP(B)1507/2007 , dt.
26-06-2007. The authority shall comprise of the following official members:-

Member |
1. Chief Administrator, Bathinda Development Authority shall be appointed
by the Government.
2. The headquarters of the authority shall be at Bathinda. The office
of the Additional Chief Administrator, PUDA, Bathinda will house the office
of Bathinda Development Authority and will be expanded as per its requirements.
3. All the powers and functions of the Punjab Urban Planning and Development
Authority relating to the development and redevelopment of Bathinda and
its adjoining area forming part of Bathinda Development Authority shall
be exercised by the Bathinda Development Authority as constituted.

which is intersection point of northern side of Bathinda-Malout
road (N.H.64) and then along western revenue boundary of village
Behman Diwana (H.B No.74) towards North along revenue boundary of

revenue boundary of village Nahianwala (H.B.No.167), village Balharvinju(H.B.No.166),

In continuation of Notification No. 13/31/07-1HG2/5398,
dated 16th July,2007, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to redefine the
boundaries of Bathinda Development Authority as provided u/s 29 (2) of
the Punjab Regional and Town Planning and Development Act, (Amended, 2006).
The modified schedule of boundaries of Bathinda Development Authority
shall be as below:-

In partial modification of Notifications No.13/31/07-HG2/229
dated 15th January,2009 and 13/31/07-1HG2/5398, dated 16th July,2007,
the Governor of Punjab is pleased to redefine the boundaries of
Bathinda Development Authority (BDA) under section 29 (2) of The
Punjab Regional and Town Planning and Development (Amendment)
Act-2006 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf. The
jurisdiction of Bathinda Development Authority shall include the
areas of revenue districts of Bathinda, Mansa, Faridkot, Mukatsar
and Firozpur (excluding the sub-Divisions of Firozpur and Zira).
The extent of Area and amended schedule of boundary shall be as
follows
